Chaos Return Format - April 2006

4/25/2006

Comments

Chaos Return Format ushers in a brief resurgence of control. The card pool includes up to Enemy of Justice. The format is dominated by different types of Chaos decks, with a few alt-wins thrown into the mix (mostly Cyber-Stein OTK). At first there are Chaos Control variants, then we see lots and lots of Chaos Return variants, which wins nationals and is popularly associated with this format. A third type of Chaos Recruiter deck with Royal Decree main decked emerges later as a response to the heavy Chaos Return metagame.
